Make a Big Difference Teams are successfully helping nonprofit organizations and community programs enhance their services by focusing on an area of need. Current teams are advocating to promote quality pre-K education, helping low-income families apply for tax benefits online, providing court accompaniment services to people age 60+, offering IT consultation, identifying environmental issues and implementing cost-saving measures, and more!  What a great way to transform people 50+ into a force for social good!

Through grant-based and local funding sources, Coming of Age has partnered with organizations serving Latinos, Southeast Asians, and African-Americans to help create compelling volunteer opportunities. Through these programs, older adults have been involved in fundraising, organizing an Elders Council, publishing a newsletter, launching a community garden, with other projects waiting to launch.
