David Brooks' Life Reports

Being Older is a Plus at the Office

This is the kind of survey we like to see...it seems that age can be a real advantage at the workplace according to a recent AP poll of more than 1,000 working boomers. Nearly half of those born between 1946 and 1964 work for a younger boss, and most report that they are older than most colleagues. But 61 percent of the boomers surveyed said that their age is not an issue at work, while 25 percent called it an asset.
