PROGRAMS

Conversations on the Journey

Each of the 6 sessions of Conversations on the Journey consists of thought-provoking video clips taken from the Coming of Age Boomervision!® presentations by distinguished authors and experts. Topics include health and well-being, leaving a legacy, and embracing change. The video clips, accompanied by a Facilitator’s Guide, get people thinking and talking about life after 50.

The Age for Change: An E-Book

Written by a team of published authors, the nine chapters of this e-book posted on the Coming of Age website explore the promise, richness, and challenges of life after 50 and offer provocative ideas to stimulate conversation... in book clubs, on-line chats, and in other discussion groups.

Coming of Age Radio Stories

Experience the power of self-discovery and making a difference in these beautifully produced online radio portraits and slide shows/videos of individuals who have transformed their lives after 50.

Explore Your Future

A 4-part interactive workshop series, Explore Your Future, offers creative strategies for participants to envision a future that is purposeful and rewarding. These, professionally-facilitated discussions are held on-site at workplaces and in a variety of community settings (e.g., libraries, senior centers, and faith-based institutions). A Train-the–Trainers program is also available.

Work with Diverse Communities

Coming of Age is committed to engaging people 50+ in diverse communities in compelling roles and in strengthening area organizations. The initiative has partnerships with African-American, Latino, and Southeast Asian organizations on community-building projects.
