Mid-term elections are almost upon us and it's time to find out how the political pundits are calling the races. Project SHINE is looking for individuals with a professional background to provide volunteer support and assistance to immigrant/refugee adults taking part in a Workforce Development program. Volunteers will advance the immigrants' interview skills, help with resume preparation, and discuss issues in the workplace. These courses meet twice a week for two hours through June at community sites in Philadelphia (Center City and Germantown.) Any amount of donated time would be greatly appreciated.
