MISSION: Inspiring individuals 50+ to explore their interests and strengthen communities through civic engagement.
Coming of Age New York City was created in 2011 to: Help organizations learn how to reach out to volunteers and effectively leverage the valuable resources, skills, and passions of people 50+.
Coming of Age NYC helps people 50+ explore their interests, become community leaders, pursue lifelong learning, and engage in meaningful volunteer service. By collaborating with individuals, as well as organizations, Coming of Age and Coming of Age volunteers are strategically poised to help address the most critical community needs in New York City. To achieve these goals, we offer a continuum of services, resources, and programs.
