Explore Your Future Workshops
This fun, thought-provoking, four-session workshop series helps you envision your next phase of life. Whether you are downsizing from full time employment or just thinking about it, whether you want to explore a new interest, start a second career, or give back to your community through volunteering, the Explore Your Future program includes a range of proven techniques and activities for self-discovery.
This is a hands-on learning experience, led by trained Coming of Age: North Texas representatives, which focuses on helping you create a vision for making your future satisfying and rewarding. Sessions help you explore:
- What has influenced you?
- Who are you now?
- How can you realize your dreams?
- How do you create an engaged life?
You will develop an individual action plan based on:
- Realistic goals
- Real and perceived challenges
- Resources to help you reach your goals.
Workshops are offered throughout the year in convenient locations in Coming of Age: North Texas’ service area including Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant counties.

LUNCH AND LEARN MIXER

Join us January 16, 2014 from 12:00 - 2:00 for a Lunch and Learn Mixer all about the Explore Your Future seminar series. We will provide a brief overview of what participants in the seminar do and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. Lunch is generously provided by Dogwood Estates. Space is limited. The workshop will be facilitated by Candy Wade of Home Helpers and Pamela J. Sybert of Partnerships for Strong Communities at the University of North Texas. This is a wonderful opportunity to give your New Year's resolutions that extra kick! Lunch will be generously provided by Dogwood Estates before each session begins.

FEES: $99.00 for all four sessions. (That is less than $13.00 per hour for this in-depth, personalized, and powerful goal-setting workshop). Comprehensive workbook included at no extra charge. To complete the program, you must be present for all four sessions.
