What is Coming of Age?

Coming of Age
Coming of Age — a partnership of the Temple University Center for Intergenerational Learning, WHYY Wider Horizons, AARP Pennsylvania,
and the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania —
was created in 2003 to:

•  Help people age 50+ explore their futures
•  Promote 50+ civic engagement, learning, and community leadership
•  Build the capacity of nonprofits to develop compelling paid and unpaid 50+ opportunities

Coming of Age has worked extensively
with an array of senior centers, senior
        center organizations, the American Society
on Aging, and the National Council on Aging
to re-imagine possibilities for older adults.
