What is Coming of Age?

Coming of AgeComing of Age a partnership of the Temple University Center for Intergenerational Learning, WHYY Wider Horizons, AARP Pennsylvania,
and the United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania
was created in 2003 to:
Help people age 50+ explore their futures
Help people age 50+ explore their futures
Promote 50+ civic engagement, learning, and community leadership
Build the capacity of nonprofits to develop compelling paid and unpaid 50+ opportunities

Coming of Age has worked extensively
with an array of senior centers, senior
with an array of senior centers, senior
center organizations, the American Society
on Aging, and the National Council on Aging
to re-imagine possibilities for older adults.
