Odyssey Hospice Volunteer
Volunteering for Odyssey Hospice could change your life. Odyssey Hospice has volunteer opportunities for individuals who can view the terminal illness of a patient as only a mere aspect of a person’s life, for those who can see the person as a whole… past, present and beyond…
If you have as little as three hours per month to devote to using your time and talents to serve others at end of life, please consider Odyssey Hospice. If you are a working professional, your skills may be useful to a patient who can no longer leave home or a nursing home. Especially home patients could benefit from the services of cosmetologists, musicians, massage therapists or lawn care providers. You may offer companionship to a patient or caregiver by playing games, reading or engaging them in other enjoyable activities. Volunteers may also assist our office staff with filing, faxing and mailings.
Required and paid by Odyssey:
- Training
- TB test
- Criminal background screen are mandatory
Odyssey wants to ensure our patients are cared for by the safest and most reliable team possible.
Please join us in supporting those “living” with a terminal illness. We’re waiting for you.
