Lynne Iser


I’m Lynne Iser.  For the past three years I have been on a journey that has taken me all across the country.  I have met many people and explored with them how older adults — “elders”— can create community.  This has led me to work with Second Journey, where I facilitate Vision Councils in which participants discover their own ideas and dreams about community.
 
My passion is to create elder communities that will add value to our world and culture.  I am excited about the “age-wave” and the opportunities that we now have to address the issues and problems that plague our world by nurturing and using the talents and resources of older people.  
 
I have a Master Degree in Public Health, from the University of Texas, 30 years experience working in nonprofits, co-founded and directed the Spiritual Eldering Institute for 10 years, and currently have a private consulting practice.
