Older Adults Can Solve Drop-Out Crisis

Experience Corps and AARP Pennsylvania, a Coming of Age founding partner, are working together to slow down the drop-out rate in Philadelphia.  A two-year study of Experience Corps, a national program that engages retirees to tutor children in elementary schools, shows a significant improvement in literacy in the children served.
