Senior Resources of Episcopal Senior Communities

Do you know someone who would enjoy a friendly visitor or become part of a free telephone community? Our goal is to link elders with services to help maintain maximum independence and improve their quality of life at home. Senior Center Without Walls (www.SeniorCenterWithoutWalls.org) offers activities, friendly conversation, and an assortment of classes and support groups for adults aged 50+ in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout Northern California who find it difficult to go to a community senior center. ElderWISE, working in service to elders, provides social visits from trained volunteers to isolated elders, regardless of income. ElderWISE eligibility: 62 years or older; living independently at home or in an assisted living facility, and find it difficult to access community services; ability to interact socially.
