The Domestic Violence Information and Referral Center (DVIRC) provides an online space for Bay Area domestic violence service providers to share, network, and access updated information so that effective and appropriate resources and referrals can be offered to domestic violence survivors. The Domestic Violence Information and Referral Center (DVIRC) provides an online space for Bay Area domestic violence service providers to share, network, and access updated information so that effective and appropriate resources and referrals can be offered to domestic violence survivors. Help us build it! Tasks &Responsibilities: * Data entry into DVIRC website * Ensure all WOMAN, Inc resource information has been entered * Assist in entering resource lists provided by other agencies * Verify that all resources entered into database are accurate and up to date * Help to coordinate trainings and webinars * Assist in creating training materials * Train staff and volunteers to use and build the DVIRC Desired Skills & Interests: * Data entry skills * Familiarity with Excel * Strong communication skills * Desire to support anti-violence work Time Commitment: This is an ongoing project, requiring a 2-hour initial training then at least one 4-hour shift per week, for a minimum of two months. Volunteers will be provided with in-office training and support, and once oriented with the project, have the flexilbility to work from home.
