Clinic by the Bay is a free, volunteer-powered health clinic located in the Excelsior neighborhood of San Francisco. We are part of the national network of Volunteers in Medicine clinics; we engage retired and practicing health providers and nonmedical volunteers to provide compassionate, high quality care, free of charge, to working uninsured adults in the community. Clinic by the Bay will be opening a small dental program for its established patients in June 2013. We are looking for volunteer Dentists, Dental Assistants, and Hygienists to provide basic dental care including assessment, treatment planning, x-rays and cleanings using mobile equipment and digital radiography.
Join other Coming of Age members as we go on live TV on Saturday, June 15th from 6pm to 9pm to support public broadcasting in Northern California and to help Coming of Age create awareness of our organization and programs.
The TV pledge drives are KQED's most important fundraising effort and Coming of Age volunteers will help by answering phones and recording pledges.
And for bringing in a group, we'll get some on-air promotion, including verbal acknowledgements, camera pans of our volunteers, table signs and an on-air graphic slide.
Plus, all volunteers will receive a complimentary meal prior to our shift provided by a local restaurant, and drinks and snacks throughout the evening.
Volunteer in a 5-star, nationally-recognized senior facility with a great community of people. Our busy Garden Cafe is looking for 1 volunteer to assist behind the counter on Sundays - greeting customers, serving coffee and light snacks, cashiering.

For 25 years, the Women's Initiative for Self Employment (WISE) has provided high-potential, low-income women with the training, funding and ongoing support to start their own businesses and become financially self sufficient.
The women who went through our program significantly increased their income and assets while launching businesses, creating jobs and stimulating the local economy.
We have urban hubs in San Francisco and Oakland to serve women throughout the Bay Area.
WISE is currently recruiting volunteers for a wide range of responsible positions. Please review the following and apply to talk with us and learn more.
In partnership with the San Francisco Food Bank, we are proud to be able to provide our clients with a grocery delivery service! As a Home Delivery & Grocery Shopper for MoWSF, you'll be able to help the homebound seniors continue eating the foods they like and cook for themselves. It's a rewarding volunteer opportunity as you get to personally connect with some of our clients and form a bond like friendship with the isolated seniors. This position requires at least a 6-month commitment and we'll need you to be able to deliver the groceries every Wednesday morning.

For more than 100 years the San Francisco Travel Association has worked to promote San Francisco as the destination of choice for conventions and leisure travel. The Association is an outgrowth of the San Francisco Convention and Tourist League, a non-profit, local business association founded in 1909 to reclaim the City's position as a world-class destination in the wake of the devastating 1906 earthquake and fire. San Francisco Travel continues that mission today, marketing and selling San Francisco to attract visitors.
As a Greeter for the SF Travel Association you will be the first point of contact for visitors at the Visitor Information Center. The Greeter will actively welcome visitors as they enter, determine their needs and point them towards the correct location within our center to get the help they need.
Parenting is hard and all families can use support. The San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center TALK Line works to prevent child abuse and reduce its devastating impact. When stressed or in crisis parents can call -- and you as one of our Volunteer counselors can be there to reflectively listen, provide interventions, make referrals, and have an impact on a parent and their child's lives.
Rebuilding Together San Francisco mobilizes teams of volunteers to provide free home repair for low-income San Franciscan’s (seniors, adults with disabilities or families) as well as renovations for our City’s community centers, nonprofits, and public schools. Now in our 24th year, RTSF believes in preserving our rich diversity, helping seniors age safely in their homes and supporting the community based organizations that support and enrich our City.
