Be A WriterCoach for East Bay Teens!

Help students develop their ideas, strengthen their writing skills, and become more confident writers and thinkers. Become a WriterCoach Connection volunteer! WCC brings teams of trained community volunteers into middle school and high school English classes to give students precious one-on-one attention on their classroom writing assignments. "It's the highlight of my week," says one coach, and teachers confirm that student writing improves dramatically with the individualized support and encouragement of their writing coaches. WCC provides all the training and support you'll need and coordinates the program. All you have to do is show up on your scheduled day/time to work with your students.
