A major component of Coming of Age programs is reaching out to the 50+ community in the Bay Area and connecting to organizations and events that offer exciting new opportunities to learn, to grow and to give back. • Coming of Age joins with diverse Bay Area organizations to present Volunteer Fairs providing information on compelling opportunities. During the year, we're pleased to present our Coming of Age Lecture Series, featuring expert speakers for audiences age 50+. Periodic special events offer additional opportunities to network and socialize. 

• The free Coming of Age E-Newsletter, "Inspiring Opportunities," offers news, a calendar of community events, advice, invitations to special Coming of Age activities, and details of new paid and volunteer opportunities at organizations in the Bay Area.

• The Coming of Age:Bay Area website is a key resource for organizations, individuals, employers and the public. It offers up-to-date information on workshops, events, learning and networking opportunities, local activities and organizations, resources, and, especially, exciting opportunities that offer people 50+ options to connect and contribute -- plus a direct link to the resource-rich national Coming of Age website.
