Poe must have found inspiration in the streets of Philadelphia for he achieved his greatest literacy success while living here. Due to the impressive amount of work he produced from this location, Congress declared his home on 7th and Spring Garden a National Historic Site. Admission is free!

See a horticultural masterpiece. Longwood Gardens has over 1,000 acres of gardens, meadows and woodlands. There are seasonal festivals and special events year round.

This is a great place to take your family for some educational fun. The museum includes three floors of life-size dioramas of plants and animals displayed in scenes of their natural habitats. You can also dig for Dino bones, touch live animals, and marvel at crystals and gems
